We're Comin' Out!

Well, we're happily comin' out once again!

Made By Madge is the LGBT owned-and-operated Canadian promo product biz located in the heart of Central Ontario - Peterborough!

And a lot of you already recognize J.C. Gonder as the person (aka Swag Magician) who helps transform your idea from concept to delivered custom product.  He's been in the biz for close to 20 years!

So Then, Who Is This 'Madge'?

You may know Ms. Madge Enthat as the over-the-top drag queen with the big purple hairdo(n't) from her many appearances around Southern Ontario.  Like anyone with a good head on their shoulders, she's all about advocacy for social justice especially related to things like pro-equality, pro-choice and all-around improvement of society.

(Madge was born from the celebration of Peterborough PRIDE one year, and the rest is herstory.)

Ms. Madge Enthat is the character who is outgoing and with her nutty antics is able to communicate to her audiences with conversation and humour.

Stay tuned and you just might see Madge working here once in a while, too!

 House of Sass & Magic

The House of Sass & Magic, is a creative offshoot of Flash Design Co. -- owned and operated by Stacey Gonder

At HouseSM you'll find custom apparel as well as fun, thematic costuming creations suitable for special events and nightlife.

We sport a made-to-match-your-imagination approach for anyone which guarantees a unique look you can call your own. And when your imagination is at its limit you can also rely on our staff to help reel-in that big idea and bring it to reality!

Entirely custom made wearables have been created by the House of Sass & Magic for performers at music festivals, pop music entertainers, artistic models, event emcees and for people who wanted something inspired by their cultural heritage, too.

You'll often see House of Sass & Magic at summer music festivals such as WayHome, BassCoast and Shambhala. Plus, we're regulars at Toronto PRIDE, Animé North, Toronto Comicon and FanExpo Canada shows, too. Look for our colourful tent in the vendor areas of each event.
The staff at The House of Sass & Magic is a friendly bunch -- stop and say hello!

Flash Design Company

Building upon her years of experience in dance and theatre, Stacey put it all together with formal training at the International Academy of Design and received a diploma in Costume Studies.

A few days after graduation in 2001, she had Flash Design Company up-and-running.

Since then thousands of custom, well-made costumes for dance, theatre, gymnastics and figure skating have originated from the FDC studio in Toronto, Ontario.

Flash DC was a one-person operation in the beginning years, but has since grown to include multiple staff members and a loyal roster of clients.
